Mr. Eric Letson is the founder of FeelTech Golf, and creator of the Patent Pending Evolution-1, as well as  “DOME” technology. Converting his inspiration into reality required many long hours. There were several hundred drawings on CAD-CAM (computer aided design) and many dozen clay prototypes.  After finding the perfect balance of weight and design, the Evolution-1 was created and sent off for fabrication.

Brian MacKenzie, Mechanical Engineer at Hansco Industries in Massachusetts was then able to take my original designs and translated them to a state-of-the-art Solidworks™ software system. This program was then fed into a Vector Dual 3-Axis CNC milling machine, allowing us to take 316 stainless steel casted and mill it to our exacting tolerance.

Weight:  The weight of a putter is critical.  If there is too much weight on the bottom of the putter face, the ball will skip when you strike it, causing it to go offline.  If a putter is too light in the face, the ball has no feel and judging distance becomes nearly impossible.  The DOME on the Evolution-1 contains the majority of the weight, and is slightly above the equator of the ball.  This design allows the ball to come off the face of the putter without backspin and continue with a true roll.
