Bill brings over 20 years of varied experience in the transportation industry to Breakaway Express. He started his career as an over the road live stock driver in Indiana. After several years of driving, Bill became a dispatcher for a refridgerated company, Gangloff Industries in Logansport, Indiana and then moved into dry van freight sales for DCI, a Gainey Corporation, also in Indiana, covering 5 states. After several successful years in sales Bill became a freight broker for Grojean Transportation in Penn Yan, New York. While at Grojean Transportation Bill was promoted to Northeast Terminal Manager at their facility in Raynham, Massachusetts where he supervised 55 drivers and an office staff of 6. After the Raynham terminal was consolidated into Van Pak, another Grojean company in Springfield, Massachusetts, Bill moved back to New York and took all of his knowledge in the transportation business and managed a brokerage office for Keystone Transportation, a Pitt Ohio Company. Within 2 years Grojean Transportation was interested in opening an LTL brokerage office in New York which Bill opened and managed before deciding to move back to Massachusetts and joined Breakaway Express in 2006. Bill currently handles consolidation, LTL and truckload freight in 48 states and also Mexico and Canada. |
